Reinforced sealing rings for pump-nozzle-unit VITON

Simply replacing the sealing rings on the injection nozzle is not a permanent solution to the underlying problem. Although the reinforced sealing rings can provide temporary relief, it is likely that the injectors will start to vibrate again after a short time.

These vibrations will again lead to an increase in oil, causing the problem to recur. To achieve a lasting solution, we strongly recommend the use of a PDE quick-change repair holder or a PDE bridgeto stabilize the injectors and fix the problem permanently.

Please note that the sealing rings are part of a more comprehensive repair approach and can only deliver long-term results in combination with the above measures.

Please note that the color of the sealing rings may vary. However, this has no influence on the functionality of the components. Before installation, it is essential to precisely measure the sealing rings and the PDE (pump nozzle elements) to ensure that each sealing ring is assigned to the correct position. Correct allocation prevents installation errors and ensures optimum sealing. We recommend using a caliper gauge for this purpose.

The installation of sealing rings requires extreme care, as it is technically demanding. Please observe the following steps to ensure successful installation:

1. remove edges:

Before installation, all sharp or protruding edges in the area of the cylinder head must be carefully removed. Fine sandpaper or a comparable tool is suitable for this purpose.

2. cleaning:

Make sure that no residue, such as sanding particles or dirt, remains in the bores. Thorough cleaning is crucial for the tightness and functionality of the rings.

3. preparation of the sealing rings:

The reinforced sealing rings should be generously greased or oiled before installation. This makes installation easier and protects the rings from damage.

4. installation instructions:

If the correct procedure is followed, the sealing rings will remain intact and reliably fulfill their function.
